Biographical Detail

Lawrence Hall is a native of Kansas City, MO. Lawrence enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in 1989 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA.


After completing recruit training, Lawrence attended Marine Combat Training and Personnel Administration School at Camp Pendleton, CA before reporting to his first command with the 24th Marine Infantry Regiment.


In 1990, Lawrence was deployed with the 24th Marines to Southwest Asia for Operation(s) Desert Shield/Storm.


Lawrence transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve Support Command in 1997 and served as Personnel Clerk and Legal Chief during his tour. In 2002, Lawrence transferred to the Inspector-Instructor Staff in Tucson, AZ as Personnel Clerk. And in 2005, transferred to Inspector-Instructor Staff, Phoenix, AZ, to assume the duties as Personnel Chief of one of the largest reserve units in the Marine Corps.


In 2008, Lawrence was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps and joined the Arizona Army National Guard. During his tour with Joint Force Headquarters, Arizona National Guard, Lawrence served as the Assistant Coordinator with the State Partnership Program which enhanced the relationship between the United States and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In October, 2014, Lawrence retired from the military after completing 25 years of active and reserve service.


Lawrence’s personal military awards include: the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with gold star, Army Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with gold star, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal with bronze star, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 bronze stars, Humanitarian Service Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait) .
