Curriculum

A typical week for an ASU NROTC Midshipman consists of 2-3 early morning physical training (PT) sessions, 1 Leadership Lab session, and a 3 credit Naval Science course, in addition to a regular full-time academic course load.

NAV 102:  Sea Power and Maritime Affairs

Sophomore 

NAV 294:  Naval Leadership and Management

NAV 202:  Navigation

Junior

NAV 301:  Ships Systems I 

NAV 302:  Naval Ship Systems: Weapons

Senior 

NAV 401:  Naval Operations and Seamanship

NAV 402:  Leadership and Ethics

*STA-21 (Active Duty Navy) are required to take only NAV 294 and NAV 402

Marine Option

Freshmen

NAV 101:  Intro to Naval Science

NAV 102:  Sea Power and Maritime Affairs*

Sophomore

NAV 294:  Naval Leadership and Management

NAV 303:  Evolution of Warfare

Junior

NAV 403:  Fundamentals Maneuver Warfare

Senior

NAV 402:  Leadership and Ethics

 *MECEPS (Active Duty Marines) are not required to take NAV 101 and NAV 102.
